I don't know about the people who try to claim ouijas won't burn. I watched my older brother burn 2 when I was around 12. They burned alright. The flames were green when they burned. That was some wierd shit. Especially one was a homemade ouija he had made in wood shop so it definitely wasn't chemically treated with anything to cause the green flames.

The world has changed for the worse,my daughter is in your field,,I had to really talk to her to convince her to do as I suggested, we got her a 22 and taught her how to use it at the range so please consider and my best advice is don't pull it out if you're not going to use it, anyone can buy a gun but if you're not prepared to use it your only putting yourself in more danger. That's God she has nothing frightening like your experience,but now she is armed and trained to shoot to kill.
